Mariam Dynar

Postdoc

I’m a Doctor in Biophysics from Grenoble Alpes University. My research focused on living systems, where I applied simulations, experiments, and computational methods to study blood dynamics. Currently, I’m a postdoctoral researcher at the IBDM in Marseille, working under the supervision of Léo Guignard.

I’m an Engineer by training, with a degree from UFRJ in Brazil and am currently pursuing a master's in Computational and Mathematical Biology at Aix-Marseille University. My journey to France was driven by the desire of learning more about programming and algorithms specifically to address complex biological challenges, but also to meet new people, new cultures and travel. Currently, I’m doing a three month internship focused on lineage trees.

Follow-up position:

Master student in Marseille

Giannis Liaskas

Giannis Liaskas

L3 Intern

Giannis is a physicist interested in the intricate processes that take place during the development of an embryo. Using physics, computer science and biology Giannis aims to uncover the fundamental mechanisms that govern the final form of an organism.
